Roll & Dine is a neighborhood-focused food-sharing and delivery marketplace that helps home cooks and local kitchens share meals with nearby customers.

2.1 Information you provide to us

  • Account & profile: name (or nickname), email address, password (stored in hashed/encrypted form), profile photo (optional), and city/area.
  • Sign-in with Apple or Google: depending on your provider settings, we may receive your name, email, and a unique account identifier.
  • Orders & fulfillment: items ordered, quantities, special instructions, delivery address, and drop-off instructions.
  • Support & communications: information you provide when you contact us (such as messages and attachments), and details needed to respond to your request.
  • Eligibility: date of birth or an age confirmation to enforce our 18+ requirement.

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Location information: approximate location (such as city/area) and, if you allow device permissions,precise geolocation to improve search results, delivery estimates, and nearby recommendations.
  • Device & usage data: IP address, device type, operating system, app version, language, pages/screens viewed, features used, timestamps, and diagnostic logs (including crash reports).
  • Cookies & similar technologies (website): cookies/local storage used for authentication, security, preferences, and basic analytics.

How we use your information

  • Provide and operate the Services (account creation, sign-in, browsing kitchens, placing orders, and order updates).
  • Personalize your experience (relevant search results, saved preferences, recommendations).
  • Process payments and prevent fraud (risk checks, security monitoring, dispute handling).
  • Communicate with you (support responses, receipts, service notifications, and security alerts).
  • Improve and secure the Services (debugging, analytics, testing, and enforcing our policies).

How we share information

Our Services are designed to help fulfill orders and enable community interaction. Please be mindful of what you share, as information you make public may be viewed by others and we cannot control how other users may use it.
  • With other users and participating kitchens/businesses: we share information necessary to operate the Services, such as order details and delivery instructions needed to complete a transaction. Profile information you choose to display (e.g., display name and profile photo) may be visible to others within the Services.
  • With service providers: we may share information with vendors who help us run the Services (for example, payment processing, hosting, analytics, customer support tools, mapping/address lookup, and authentication). They may process information only to provide services to us.
  • For legal and safety reasons: we may disclose information if reasonably necessary to comply with law/legal process, help prevent or detect crime (subject to applicable law), enforce our policies, or protect the safety and security of any person.
  • Aggregated or de-identified information: we may share information that does not reasonably identify you (e.g., usage statistics).
  • Business transfers: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We do not sell your personally identifiable information to outside parties.

Purchases and payments (Stripe)

If you purchase products through our platform, payments may be processed through Stripe’s payment infrastructure. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers when processed by Stripe. Stripe may use automated systems to help detect and prevent fraudulent transactions. If a transaction is blocked, you will be notified that it cannot be processed and you may be able to contact Stripe to contest the decision, depending on Stripe’s processes.

Accessing, updating, and deleting information

  • You can access, update, correct, or delete certain information through tools and account settings available in the Services.
  • You may delete your profile or your entire account using the in-app functionality (where available).

Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect security. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data and the purpose for which it is processed.

Our Services are restricted to users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you suspect a user is under 18, please use the reporting mechanism in the Services or contact admin@rollndine.com.

International processing
