Cash Purchase Terms
Introduction
These Cash Purchase Terms (“Cash Purchase Terms”) govern the purchase, delivery, redemption, and use of
Roll & Dine Gift Cards. Roll & Dine is operated by
Yevgeniy Kashkin (sole proprietor registered in British Columbia, Canada).
By purchasing, receiving, claiming, or using a Roll & Dine Gift Card, you agree to these Cash Purchase Terms and, where applicable, our
Terms of Service,
Privacy Policy, and other policies made available through the Roll & Dine platform.
About Roll & Dine Gift Cards
A Roll & Dine Gift Card is a prepaid monetary value that can be used toward eligible purchases from stores available through the Roll & Dine platform.
- Gift Cards are issued in Canadian dollars (CAD).
- Gift Cards may be purchased for yourself or sent to another person.
- A Gift Card may need to be claimed or added to a Roll & Dine account before it can be used.
- Gift Card value is not a bank account, credit account, debit card, or other financial account.
Purchasing and sending a Gift Card
When purchasing a Gift Card, you are responsible for providing accurate recipient and delivery information.
If you choose to send a Gift Card to another person, delivery may be made using the delivery method selected at checkout, such as email or another supported messaging method. Where scheduling is available, you may also choose a future delivery time.
Roll & Dine is not responsible for delays or failed delivery caused by incorrect recipient information provided by the purchaser, unavailable third-party communication services, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Using a Gift Card
Gift Cards can be used for purchases at stores available on the
Roll & Dine platform.
When a Gift Card is applied to an order:
- the available Gift Card balance will be applied toward the amount selected or permitted at checkout;
- if the Gift Card balance is less than the total amount due, the remaining amount may be paid using another payment method supported by Roll & Dine;
- if the Gift Card balance is greater than the amount used, the remaining balance will stay available for future eligible purchases; and
- the Gift Card does not need to be used in a single transaction.
Normal prices, taxes, delivery charges, service fees, tips, and other amounts shown during checkout may still apply to an order. Where permitted by the checkout system, Gift Card funds may be applied toward those amounts.
No expiry
Roll & Dine Gift Cards purchased for a specific monetary value
do not expire. The remaining balance continues to be available until it has been fully redeemed or otherwise dealt with as permitted by applicable law.
Fees
Roll & Dine does not charge inactivity or maintenance fees simply for holding an unused Gift Card balance.
Any separate fees associated with an order, such as delivery or service fees, are charges relating to that order and are not fees for holding the Gift Card itself.
Gift Card balance
You can view the available balance of Gift Cards added to your Roll & Dine account through the Gift Card section of the Services where that feature is available.
The balance displayed in your account reflects the remaining value available for use, subject to completed transactions, refunds, reversals, or other adjustments.
Refunds and cancelled orders
Purchasing a Gift Card and using a Gift Card to pay for an order are separate transactions.
Unless otherwise required by law, the purchase of a Gift Card is generally final and the Gift Card itself is not redeemable for cash.
If an order purchased using Gift Card funds is cancelled or qualifies for a refund under Roll & Dine's applicable order refund policies, the portion originally paid using Gift Card funds may be returned to the applicable Gift Card balance or Roll & Dine Gift Card balance.
If an order was paid using both a Gift Card and another payment method, the refund may be divided between those payment sources according to Roll & Dine's refund procedures.
Lost, deleted, or incorrectly sent Gift Cards
You are responsible for protecting Gift Card links, claim information, account credentials, and other information that may provide access to a Gift Card.
If you believe a Gift Card has been lost, sent to the wrong person, accessed without authorization, or otherwise compromised, contact Roll & Dine as soon as possible.
We may attempt to assist where reasonably possible, but we cannot guarantee replacement or recovery of Gift Card value that has already been validly claimed or spent before the issue is reported.
Fraud, misuse, and prohibited activity
Gift Cards may not be obtained, transferred, claimed, or used through fraud, deception, unauthorized access, or other unlawful activity.
Roll & Dine may temporarily restrict the use of a Gift Card or related account where we reasonably suspect fraud, unauthorized activity, technical error, or a violation of these Cash Purchase Terms or our Terms of Service while the matter is investigated.
We may cancel or reverse transactions involving fraudulent or unlawfully obtained Gift Cards to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Technical issues and corrections
If a technical or administrative error causes an incorrect Gift Card balance, duplicate credit, incorrect redemption, or other balance discrepancy, Roll & Dine may correct the affected balance to reflect the proper transaction history.
If you believe your Gift Card balance is incorrect, contact us so that we can review the relevant transactions.
Changes to these Cash Purchase Terms
We may update these Cash Purchase Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our Services, Gift Card features, or applicable legal requirements.
Changes will apply on a forward-looking basis unless otherwise required by law. Changes will not reduce or remove Gift Card value already purchased except where permitted or required by applicable law.
Governing law
These Cash Purchase Terms are governed by the laws of the
Province of British Columbia and the applicable federal laws of Canada, subject to any consumer protection rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
